CG4IE Help

CG4IE will start working right after you install it. Every feature of CG4IE is optional and you can set them using the CG4IE Manager. Start the manager by double clicking on the desktop icon or by going to CG4IE folder in your program files directory. There are eight categories for the settings:
  1. General: This window lets you start or stop CG4IE. If you click on the Stop button CG4IE will stop working and so will all of its features.
  2. Web Search: Set here if you would like to add to the Google result page links to other web search sites, use Google suggest, give the search box focus, add position counter, add links to WayBackMachine and remove click tracking.
  3. Image Search: Set here if you would like to add to the Image search result page links to other images/photo/art search sites, and rewrite links to point straight to the images.
  4. Google News: Set here if you would like to add to the news search result page links to news search sites, and remove click tracking.
  5. GMail: Set here if you would like to make Gmail more secure (switch to https).
  6. Google Groups: Set here if you would like to add to the Google groups result page links to other search sites.
  7. Privacy: Set here if you would like to anonymize the Google cookie UID and prevent sending any cookies to the cookies analytics.
  8. Google Calendar: Set here if you would like to make Google calendar more secure (switch to https).
